7. 14 th Joint EIONET and TFEIP meeting, Istanbul, 14-15 May, 2013 Publications – Annual NECD status report 2012 12 MS missed NECD ceilings in 2010; – 7 continued to breach ceilings in 2011 Germany was the only MS to exceed three of four emission ceilings under the directive in both 2010 and 2011 Many MS reported NEs in their inventories. For several MS, a simple estimate of the missing NE emission changes their status relative to ceilings: 2011: Denmark (for NO X and NH 3 ), the Netherlands (NO X ), Portugal (NMVOC) and Slovenia (NO X ). 2010: Portugal (NMVOC) and Slovenia (NO X ).

8. 14 th Joint EIONET and TFEIP meeting, Istanbul, 14-15 May, 2013 Publications – Annual NECD status report 2012 Country Notes: Emission data for Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland are the latest reported data under the LRTAP Convention and are compared with the emission ceilings of the Gothenburg Protocol. Liechtenstein has signed but not yet ratified the protocol. Of the remaining EEA member countries, neither Iceland nor Turkey has yet signed the Gothenburg Protocol.
