Main Location  What type of location is this?  What is the layout of the location?  What items are in the location?  What sounds are in the location?  What smells are in the location?  Who is in the location?

14 The Mystery Introduction  What happened before the monster went missing?  Who is introduced?  What events occurred?  What is the mood of the story?  How are these people and events important to the mystery? Problem  How does the monster go missing?  Who discovers it?  How does the detective become involved?  What is the mood at this point? Does the mood shift? Resolution  How is the mystery solved?  Who solves the mystery?  Why did the monster go missing?  What happened to the main characters? (Protagonisst/ antagonist)  What happens next?
