4 Three Review Questions Look through your notes on the (1) Age of Jackson (Election of 1824 – Jackson’s War on the Bank) and (2) Westward Expansion + Trails West Make up three review questions that you think will stump the rest of the class.

5 Going West Pamphlets OBJECTIVE To construct a persuasive pamphlet that would make ordinary people move from the East to travel to the unknown West

6 Going West Pamphlet You are trying to convince others to come with you out West. You have known about the people going West and how they have been starting new lives and striking it rich: You will construct a 3 folded pamphlet that illustrates your view on going West. This will be counted as a TEST/QUIZ Grade: 50 POINTS TOTAL

7 Westward Expansion Who were they?When did they go? (Year) Where were they headed? Describe the routes. How did they travel? What equipment did they use to travel? Why did they go? What challenges did they face?
