2 Roshydromet IITS/R-WIS Overview Roshydromet Integrated Information & Telecom System (IITS) Programme adopted Russian WIS segment (GISC- Moscow and 8 DCPC) will provide a data management infrastructure of IITS Approach is to use standartizided soft components as «a building blocks» for all R-WIS/IITS nodes Prototypes of GISC-Moscow/DCPC- Obninsk are ready and it’s testing is in process

11 1-st Seminar on WIS (Roshydromet-MFI), Мoscow, Feb. 2011 2-nd Seminar on WIS (Roshydromet – MFI), Toulouse, Oct. 2011 IITS/R-WIS and OpenWIS There are common vision on WIS implementation RHM has been joined to OpenWIS Consortium as Associate Partner and will provide soft contribution to OPenWIS R-WIS will be based on hybrid solutions combining RHM modules and OpenWIS modules R-WIS first priority is GISC-Moscow before April 2012, ready for WMO audit in May 2012 R-WIS plans to use for GISC-Moscow (i) OpenWIS modules; (2) assistance services, provided by MFI MFI will introducing RHM solution for WIS portal into OpenWIS RHM shown interest to use OpenWIS and MFI experience for IITS design and development Main outputs and decisions
