TDP For SQL Server/FCM for Windows 7.1.1
This environment is used to demo TSM for VE integration with SQL Server.

At this point, the only documentation are these ppts and the recorded demo. I do not yet have a lab guide or script for this demo.
I have not tested this vApp extensively, so support is done on a best effort basis.

2. center is the vCenter Server and has the TSM for VE 7. 1
center is the vCenter Server and has the TSM for VE installed and is the Data Mover
tsmserver is the TSM server
vSphere1 is the ESX 5.5 host machine
The TSM server credentials are admin1/admin1
The password for everything else is Object00
This demo has lots of software. vCenter will take at least take 10 min to start since the services are delayed. Be patient and start in advance.
The TSM server already has VE backups.

3. Log on to the center VM and launch the vSphere Web Client
Use Windows session authentication

4. You may see errors in TSM for VE if the data mover cad service
started before the TSM server. If this happens, stop the service
and then restart it. You might want to do it just for good measure
since this is a common occurrence in this lab environment.

5. Expand the Enablement datacenter structure
Expand the Enablement datacenter structure. Here you can see the nested VMs that is used to demonstrate SQL Server.
Start the csisql nested VM
Wait for the machine to start and make sure VMware tools is running in the guest.
Launch the console on csisql
Note: There is much datacenter class enterprise software here. It may take 5 min or so for the nested VMs to start and VMware tools to start. Be patient and/or do it in advance.

6. You now have a VMware console inside a VMware console
You now have a VMware console inside a VMware console. Close boxes and windows can be confusing.
csisql runs on Windows There is no Start Menu button. Point inside the VM and use CTRL/ESC to get the Metro Start Screen. You can also point to the upper right of the Windows 2012 console.
You will see FCM/TDP for SQL Server, VE Recovery Agent, and SQL Server Management Studio on the Start Menu.
Your vSphere web client is still open in a tab on the outer system.
The Adventureworks database is installed in the SQL Server 2012 instance.

7. You are now ready to do a database restore
You are now ready to do a database restore. Start FCM/TDP for SQL from csisql.

8. You will need to set the options overwrite the database on restore if you want to do that.
