Improved and enhanced Malaysian Armed Forces deployment planning. Further testing and refinement of relevant portions of the MNF SOP. TE-25 Overall Goals and End State 2

UNCLASSIFIED 3 TE-25 Objectives Objective 1: Enhance UN Troop Contributing Countries’ mission planning for robust peacekeeping. Objective 2: Enhance multinational military capabilities for planning for small scale contingencies. Objective 3: Improve multinational military speed of response, interoperability, mission effectiveness and unity of effort for peace support and non-combatant evacuation operations. Objective 4: Enhance, improve and practice MAF deployment planning.

UNCLASSIFIED 4 TE-25 Exercise Format Event Dates: 12-20 June 2014, Port Dickson, Malaysia (MYS) Operational-level, multinational planning activities. Schedule: –Academics: 12-13 June 2014 (1 ½ days). –Working Group Sessions: 16-19 June 2014 (4 days). 3 Scenarios: Groups 1 & 2: Peacekeeping Intervention Brigade in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC); Group 3: Peace Enforcement Coalition Task Force in the Central African Republic (CAR); Groups 4 & 5: Non-combatant Evacuation in CAR. Group 5 will be a Malaysian-only working group. Working Group Schedule: Mission Analysis and Out Brief: 16 June 2014 (½ day); 3 ½ -day Mission Planning: 16-19 June 2014 (3 ½ days). –Mission Planning Out Briefs to Senior Officials by Working Groups: 20 June 2014 (½ day). Military, ICRC and UN SMEs will circulate through all groups. 4
