Vaccination  Immunization – a process of improving an individual’s immune system  Can be passive or active (vaccination)  Passive immunization – introduction of ready antibodies  Vaccination - admistration of antigenic material to stimulate an individual's immune system to develop adaptive immunity to a pathogen
