Center V2 Pro Dispatch Server Vital Sign Monitor

5 What is Center V2 Pro ? This software A central monitoring station (CMS) application to be installed in a CMS server One point of management Manages 50 GV-Systems and receives video images from max. 800 channels to its monitoring screen Video Evidence Receives live images or event messages with attached video clips to correlate evidence of activity

6 Benefits to the Use of Center V2 Pro Cost-effective Uses Center V2 Pro software on current GV-System Saves cost compared to traditional matrix systems or alarm monitoring services Time-effective Flexible control and management to 50 GV-Systems Helps security operator verify the nature of alarm events on the spot Fast to handle alert notifications Relatively small manpower requirements Raises the effectiveness of security personnel by bringing potential threats to their attention Effectively reduces false alarms Prescription for business security Panic-button support offers effective crime prevention for convenience store, gas station, and restaurant security Strong Authentication with enhanced network security Utilized RSA encryption to protect the data security

7 How does Center V2 Pro Help You? Responds to 13 most frequent alerts by Activating alarms/output device Sending emails Sending SMS alerts to notify designated authorities Three easy steps to verify the nature of alarm events:

9 Center V2 Pro Operations Views live images Views GV-Systems’ server information Two-way audio communication Records video files for evidence Receives incident notifications Quick search by key-word in backup ViewLog PTZ cameras, I/O devices control Pre-record and post-record setting on attachment mode Outputs alarms to security authorities Logon to SMS server at startup Avoids connection failure Full event lists for quick search Video attachable files by event Keeps track of GV-System’s location ID, event types, start time, end time Backup list in Access format for later retrievals Ease of monitoring window 1024x768 or 1280x1024 resolution Live or attached videos at 320x240/640x240/640x480 Multiple screen divisions: (single monitor) 6/15/24x, 6/12/24x; (dual monitors) 9/25/36x; 9/20/42x Dual monitor support: one for live videos display, the other for event lists

11 Center V2 Pro vs. Center V2 Center V2 Pro Manages 50 GV-Systems and receives images from max. 800 channels Suitable for a large CMS network, e.g. alarm services, chain stores Paid software Value added and professional Center V2 Manages 5 GV-Systems and receives images from max. 80 channels Suitable for a smaller security monitoring network, e.g. residential environment Free software Economical and standard

Center V2 Pro Vital Sign Monitor Dispatch Server

13 What is Dispatch Server ? The Dispatch Server Connects 25,000 GV-Systems to 500 Center V2 servers Distributes the workload between online and offline Center V2 servers Utilization of Load-balancing technique: Distributes requests from event-triggered GV-Systems evenly across a Center V2 network If one Center V2 server starts to get swamped, the Dispatch Server forwards requests to another Center V2 server with more capacity When one Center V2 server fails to work, another can take over in the processing activity

14 The Dispatch Server Window

15 Why Needs Dispatch Server? Important for a large Center V2 server farm where it's difficult to predict the number of requests from multiple GV-Systems to a server Suitable for businesses or franchise stores where a large cluster of networked GV-Systems in use and an enormous amount of surveillance service required Streamlines networking processes from GV- Systems to Center V2 servers so that no single server is overwhelmed

16 Dispatch Server Operations View real-time events and attached videos to verify the nature of alarm Control a single-view video/audio panel (Figure)Figure To playback video/audio clips To communicate two-way in real time with GV-System site Search event and playback videos at once Create groups and sub groups for Center V2 servers

17 Real-Time Video/Audio Control

Center V2 Dispatch Server Vital Sign Monitor

19 What is Vital Sign Monitoring (VSM)? An event-alert text messages service for a large cluster of networked GV-Systems where an enormous amount of maintenance service required text messages When any online GV-System is event-triggered, instant text messages are sent to VSM for IT operator to proceed with maintenance on the GV- System cluster Serves as many as 1,000 GV-Systems simultaneously

20 The Use of VSM Helps IT operator easily notice GV-Systems’ health status Real-time response to various frequent events in GV-System Sends back emails, SMS alerts, or activates alarms, output device to GV-System to the guard’s attention on any of the events Co-work with Center V2 Server

21 VSM Operations Keeps track of event-triggered GV-System’s location ID, event type, message received time, event start time/end time. Event types include: Motion detection I/O trigger Connection: camera video or I/O lost Alarms System login/logout System: service start/stop/fail; monitoring start/stop Event lists in access format for easy retrievals Monitors GV-Systems’ health status: Acquires time reports on free storage space of GV-Systems and views all storage info Notifies operator if any GV-System’s keep days is lower than setting View online GV-Systems’ cameras online/offline status, input device on/off status, HDD storage update status Automatically logon to VSM server when Center V2 server is online

22 VSM Diagram When any event or abnormal health status occurred in GV- Systems, text messages are sent to a security personnel or IT operator for prompt actions

23 Difference between VSM and Center V2 Center V2 Live images or event messages with attached video clips Site surveillance function Large bandwidth Manages 50 GV-Systems and receives images from 800 channelsVSM Text messages without video image GV-System monitoring function Small bandwidth Serves 1,000 GV-Systems

24 Conclusions Overall central monitoring solutions for commercial and residential markets Cost/time effective security and substantially reduced manpower Center V2 Pro for one point of central monitoring Dispatch server for a streamlined networking environment Vital Sign Monitor for efficient IT monitoring
