3 Over a 2 year period SDHC purchased 14,767 Desktop Computers at a cost of $13,482,271 Using the State of Florida contract we would have purchased 13,187 for the same expenditure. Cost Savings As a result of the contract, we purchased 1,579 more desktop computers.

4 Value Added Benefits Credit/Rebate – HP provides a credit return of 1.5 to 3.5 percent based on purchase volume. – In the first two years of the partnership HCPS received $615,640 in rebates back to the district. Software – Each laptop and desktop computer receives instructional software valued at $150 computer as part of the standard image. – Microsoft Office is included on all computers. Matching funds – HP donated $200,000 to the Hillsborough Education Foundation to support a matching funds program for technology
