A U.S. Department of Labor grant that is being used to expand capacity of community colleges to meet needs of local employers Working with the local Montgomery County CareerLink and Workforce Investment Board Montgomery County Community College is part of a consortium of 14 Pennsylvania community colleges

Health Technology Specialist The Health Technology Specialist program: Is a full-time day or part-time evening program for individuals who have at least one year of information technology experience. offers a blend of healthcare-related training and IT skills while preparing students to take the exams for recognized IT industry certifications. Will include topics such as medical terminology, networking, server administration and project management.

5. Health Technology Specialist A practicum is included to provide hands- on practice and skill development. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate from MCCC and will be eligible to sit for various industry certifications. Students will be provided the support of a Career Coach which includes job placement assistance.
