2 ADVANCED MANUFACTURING PROGRAMS Training Programs under TAACCCT CNC Machine Operator Industrial Maintenance Technician Logistics Associate/Technician Potential Program: Production Technician

3 CNC Machine Operator Certificate Will serve as an entry-level credential Employment as a CNC Machine Operator who manufactures components made of metal, wood or plastic Training is non-credit and conducted at North Montco Technical Career Center Training will consist of 210 hours - theory and application Curriculum will prepare completers to sit for the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Certificate – CNC Machine Operator Exam

4 CNC Machine Operator Certificate Courses: Print Reading Measuring, Measurement Tools, Gauging and Gauging Tools Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Basic Machine Tools Milling and Turning Machines Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machines Quality Control - CNC Machines OSHA

5 Industrial Maintenance Technician Certificate Will serve as an entry-level credential Employment as an Industrial Maintenance Technician who maintains, troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment Training is non-credit and conducted at North Montco Technical Career Center Training will consist of 360 hours - theory and application Completers will be awarded the Advanced Manufacturing Integrated Systems Technology (AMIST) Level 1 Certificate endorsed by the Industrial Maintenance Training Center of Pennsylvania

6 Industrial Maintenance Technician Certificate Courses: Mechanical Systems 1 Pneumatics 1 Hydraulics 1 DC-AC Electricity Motors and Motor Controls 1 Electrical Wiring Introduction to PLCs – Part 1 OSHA

7 Logistics Associate/Technician Certificates Will serve as entry-level credentials Employment as Logistics Associate or Technician who performs materials handling functions across the supply chain Training is non-credit and conducted at North Montco Technical Career Center Training will consist of 260 hours - theory and application Curriculum will prepare completers to sit for the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) and Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) Certificate Exams

8 Logistics Associate Certificate Courses: Logistics Environment Computers in the Logistics Environment Global Supply Chain Material Handling Equipment Safety Principles and Practices Quality Control Principles Communication in the Logistics Environment Workplace Behavior and Teamwork

9 Logistics Technician Certificate Courses: Measuring and Metric Conversions Receiving Storage Order Processing Packaging and Shipping Inventory Control Safe Handling of Hazardous Materials Evaluation of Transportation Modes Dispatch and Tracking Operations OSHA

10 Production Technician Certificate Will serve as an entry-level credential Employment as a Team Assembler or Machine Operator who makes durable goods or their components Training is non-credit and may be delivered on site Training will consist of 200 hours - theory and application Curriculum will prepare completers to sit for the Manufacturing Skills Standards Council (MSSC) Certified Production Technician Certificate Exam
