Noting BT decision D136/033 to set back project to PWI stage, SC9XA resolves to initiate a survey group within WGA4-2 with the remit of identifying the characteristics of train detection that need to be defined, with the objective of initiating a New Work Item Proposal.

Additional responsibility identified for IM for maintaining parameters in the framework of interoperability

14. Way forward
SC9XA issues the report of the survey group to all National Committees for 2 month enquiry to finalise the new mandate for WGA4-2.
WGA4-2 starts work immediately, to avoid further delay to the introduction of Interoperability
WGA4-2 remains a joint WG. New members are welcome.
