Living Essay Presentation (an argument essay on its feet)

What is a Living Essay? A living essay contains all of the information a well- written, well-supported argument essay contains, however, the material is presented aloud and uses visuals to communicate the different parts of the essay.

Presentation Requirements Present EVERY aspect of the argument essay (intro, body paragraphs, rebuttal paragraph, and a conclusion). Compose an outline. Involve the audience/class. Length: 6-10 minutes Provide visuals. Qualify your argument.

Continued You may not READ your presentation. Your presentation needs to be interesting and creative. Every group member needs to be involved in the oral presentation.

Important Info Group members missing the day their group is scheduled to present, regardless, of the the circumstance, will be required to make up the assignment by writing an argument essay about their group’s topic.

This is worth a test grade! You will have Tuesday and Wednesday in the Tech Lab to finish your project. Group members who are not pulling their weight will receive a lower grade.

Your project is due on Thursday! Do not be absent on Thursday or Friday! You need to email me your PowerPoint ahead of time. Bring all of your notes and visuals and be prepared to present at the beginning of class!
