European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing ETP Governing Council Meeting, 7 June 2005, Frankfurt Towards a STRATEGIC RESEARCH AGENDA Set-up of high level Governing Council Bottom-up creation of Thematic Expert Groups involving cross-sectoral industry, services, academia, authorities and other stakeholders Set-up of supporting Horizontal Task Groups on research- related topics (Financing, Education, Standardisation) & Innovation Management working group Development of long-term thematic visions and overall Strategic Research Agendas (SRA) for our industry with input from other platforms or technology initiatives Mobilisation of (financial) resources, improvement of framework conditions and implementation of research programmes (through collaborative projects) Continuous review of Strategic Research Agenda, implementation programmes, resource allocations and framework conditions
