INTERREG IVC state of play Main achievements (as of June 2013) 90% of EU NUTS 2 regions covered Objective: EU wide exchange of experience / capacity building 6,188 staff with increased capacity 369 ‘spin-off activities’ Objective: Identification / sharing / transfer of good practices 4,709 good practices identified 403 successfully transferred Overall objective: Improvement of regional and local policies 1,943 policies addressed 432 policies improved See illustrations of results in the programme Annual Report!

8 8 GreenInfraNet/Smart Europe final conference, 4 November 2014, Almere TOPIC & METHOD Development and implementation of green infrastructure in EU regions + Intense interregional exchange process in specific fields: development and implementation of green infrastructure in urbanised areas, in natural areas, in relation to rural land uses and to adapt to climate change PARTNERSHIP 11 committed partners from 9 Member States representing a good balance in terms of type of partners and experience RESULTS (so far) 2 policies improved and 2 spin-off activities developed and many others in progress 2. 9 9 GreenInfraNet/Smart Europe final conference, 4 November 2014, Almere TOPIC & METHOD Topic: support regions in boosting employment in innovation based jobs by exchanging and developing regional policies and by supporting the creation of jobs Method: peer review methodology PARTNERSHIP 13 highly motivated and experienced partners from 11 Member States. 7 of these partners already successfully cooperated in Mini Europe project (2008 – 2011). RESULTS (so far) 21 good practices identified, 1 GP catalogue, 8 peer review reports, 3 regional action plans and many others in progress 2. Smart Europe project
