Open concept provides a sustained flow of new knowledge based companies with high level of retention and potential for growth (incubated companies). 7. Technology Park Ljubljana – Building Innovative Region Remarkable achivements in 2008 / 2009 Winner of competition for Start-up Slovenia 2008 - Acies Bio. Winner of Slovenian Advertisement Festival for the most innovative approaches of communication - Sonce.net. Gama System with its e-doc software penetrated markets on three continents – Europe, Africa and Asia. Three companies Elaphe, Gama System and XLAB made a TOP 10 Slovenian list of the most innovative companies. Four finalists in the competition (out of 10) in the competition The Best Business Idea 2008/09 – Red Orbit, Optilab, Intera and Energen. Intera won Red Herring 100 Europe 2009 award.
