4 Purpose Students will be able to: –Apply the knowledge gained to gather and organize scientific information.

5 Homework Search for the topic/project for science fair (individual work).

6 Working in Teams 1.Decide which “science job” you are going to perform for your team during this month. 2.Let the teacher know what your job is.

7 Lab Jobs MANAGER Keeps group on task and collaborating. Reads steps of procedure. Helps cleaning up. GETTER Gets/returns/disposes materials. Keeps the materials organized. Helps cleaning up. RECORDER Collects data. Shares information (data) with team members. Helps cleaning up. SPEAKER Asks questions and reports activities. Presents results (data). Helps cleaning up. For groups of 3, the Manager is also the Speaker.
