The goal of the inventory tool is to organize the maintenance of incoming media. Assign an internal number to each media, register the media in the inventory data base.
Scan the content of each media and append it to data base. This needs for further matching the content of received media and files have been loaded to Petrobank.
Data loading process control and tracking which operator has been copied, loaded and checked out the data.
Match the submitted and loaded files is necessary to make sure that all received files have been loaded to MDS
