Best Practice In your office or cubicle, place a recruiting log and unofficial visit form on the wall or by the phone or computer and record all phone calls, e-mail correspondence (with attachments), evaluations and contacts as they happen, instead of trying to remember information several weeks after it occurs.

It would also be helpful to know and understand CARA (Countable Athletic ally Related Activities) and what counts towards your team’s and individual student- athlete’s countable daily and weekly hours. Also, what constitutes “voluntary” activities as well.
