Students, faculty, and the administration … must be involved to ensure this quality of academic conduct. Academic misconduct undermines the purpose of education. Academic misconduct can generally be defined as all acts of dishonesty in an academic or related matter. UAB Academic Honor Code

Plagiarism can be … Turning in someone else’s work as your own Copying words and ideas without giving credit Failing to put quotation marks around quoted material “Recycling” your own work Providing incorrect citation information Changing the words but copying the sentence structure
