All accomplishments build self-confidence which enhances learning. Honesty and integrity are essential to create trust. Trust is the foundation of positive relationships. Regarding Community We believe that: The learning environment is enhanced when a sense of community exists. 11 Who is your target market? How big is your market? Where are they? Who is your competition? What makes your product different/better? What makes your product unique? What’s in it for the consumer? Is your return worth your effort?

13  A written description of your product or service  A sample product (model or picture)  An explanation of what makes this product unique and why people will buy it

14  A short, succinct and inspiring statement of what the organization intends to do  Google: “To organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful”  Microsoft: “A PC in every home”  Nike: “To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world”

16  Think about the talents of the people in your group. Who is suited best to the following tasks:  Production  Research  Marketing  Sales  Finance

17  Assign roles and responsibilities to your group members.  Common corporate titles: CEO, CFO, CIO.

18  With each of your product ideas, start to find out how viable the idea is. Generate a list of questions that you need answered:  Where can we sell?  Can we sell at Target?  Who do we talk to at Target?  What do we need to do to convince the person at Target?  What rules does Target have for us?

19  Start by brainstorming a list of questions that you need answered.  Then, as this project continues, find answers. Keep a log of questions, answers, and who found out.
