2 Mission & Vision of ASHRAE SA Mission: To advance the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world. Vision ASHRAE will be the global leader, the foremost source of technical and educational information, and the primary provider of opportunity for professional growth in the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating. SA mission is to support the ASHRAE Mission & Vision through student awareness and participation – this is done through: New student memberships Student membership retention Student involvement within society Student recognition (scholarships, grants, awards, etc…)

3 Student Membership Who can be a Student Member of ASHRAE? – Any student who is enrolled in: Community College Technical College 4-year University Undergraduate Program Graduate Programs – Student Memberships are currently not available for students who are not post high school, however ASHRAE has many opportunities for these students which will be covered later.
