25
Truancy and tardies are by far the largest reason why students do not succeed. In fact, it is often why they fail classes and get behind in credits. These credits must be made-up. If they are not in class, how will they learn the material?
26
Students often claim that they have NO homework. Remember, even though no specific assignment has been assigned, there is always homework… It’s called “Studying.” We strongly recommend that students spend a minimum of 30 minutes of homework/study time (5 days per week) on EACH of their major subjects.
27
If there is a problem with grades, behavior, homework/assignments, please contact the teacher first. They see the student daily and have first-hand knowledge of the student’s success in the classroom. ALHS (909) 989-5511 –Ask for teacher’s voicemail School Loop http://www.cjuhsd.k12.ca.us/
