Welcome MATH 110-007 Spring 2013 Dr. Larry Bowen

Future Courses Math 110 is a Terminal Course It is absolutely imperative that you understand that Math 110 is NOT a prerequisite for any other math class! If you need to take Math 112 (or might change to a major that requires Math 112), but did not place into that course, you should drop Math 110 now and take Math 100 instead, then Math 112, etc.

Contacting me lbowen@ua.edu Email me at: lbowen@ua.edu My office is 331 Osband Hall My office phone is (205) 348-3930

Clickers You will be required to have a Turning Technologies Response Unit (or “clicker”) in class with you every day for Recording attendance Participation in class Clickers may be purchased at a campus book store. If you already have a clicker for another class, that will work for this class too. Register your clicker in our Blackboard learn course right away. NOTE: I MAY NOT DO THIS SO DON’T BUY A CLICKER JUST FOR THIS CLASS IF YOU DON’T ALREADY HAVE ONE.

Clicker – front and back Use the Device ID when you register your clicker in Blackboard Learn
