5 Replacement Costs for McAfee In 2009, we requested replacement costs from departments. –The cost, built from our technical advisory team, assumed: 21,000 faculty/staff machines are currently licensed, each machine would likely take 20 minutes to migrate, at a rate of $50/hour –Total cost estimated at $350,000 Current use: 12,899 at MedCenter, 6,000 other users. Total cost may be closer to $316,000, if every machine must be touched. –McAfee costs nearly $400,000 for three years of licensing.
