FUNCTIONS : To direct, command and control funding disaster mitigation activities and IDP’s management either planning, executing, and evaluation of both disaster mitigation and IDP’s management in their area; To coordinate, command and control technical administrative activities of disaster mitigation and IDP’s management in their area; To coordinate and control acceptance and distribution of aids and assistances to Bupati/Mayor as a head of SATLAK (district level disaster task force unit); To do other activities according to direction from National BNPB. Example Negligency upon high risk development  subject to a minimum term of imprisonment of 3 years or a maximum term of 6 years and a minimum penalty of IDR 300 million or a maximum penalty of IDR 200 million Causes lost of asset or goods  perpetrator is subject to a minimum term of imprisonment of 6 years or a maximum of 8 years and a minimum penalty of IDR 600 million or a maximum penalty of IDR 3 billion. 23 DRR-A Project Purpose To make disaster risk reduction a normal part of the local level development process established in core functions of Aceh’s local government agencies, its public and private partners, local communities and families. Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR – A) “Making Aceh Safer Through Disaster Risk Reduction in Development” or DRR-A has been prepared to support Aceh’s Provincial & District Government Agencies, communities and community based partners re-organize themselves to better prepare for and mitigate disaster risks.
