8. 8 Techexpo - October 05, 2004 Accomplishments 2003-2004 Language Industry Round Tables held across Canada : Moncton, Montréal, Gatineau, Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver (over 200 attendees) NRC sets up research group on UQO campus agreement in principle on the terms of a MOU for the NRC-UQO-TBC R&D Collaboration, including the commitment to help create the LTRC as a not-for-profit corporation establishment of the Management Committee and the Scientific Committee for the R&D Collaboration proposal submitted by UQO, to Canada Economic Development (CED) and the ministère du Développement économique et régional et de la Recherche (MDERR) du Québec, for an infrastructure investment plan for the LTRC : construction of a dedicated building including the necessary equipment infrastructure, on the UQO campus $15.2 million participation in the various committees of the Technology Roadmap led by AILIA Language Technologies Research Centre
