2 Explain the weaknesses of the Weimar Republic – why did it eventually fail? How did Germany react to the economic downturn following WWI? How was the Treaty of Versailles exploited by the NSDAP? Discuss/explain the political disputes that existed in Germany amongst the political parties.

3 Discuss how the NSDAP used elections and democracy to aid their political ascent. Describe/explain the successes of the Fascist/Nazi movement prior to WWII. 1932 was a divided year for the NSDAP – explain why they lost votes from the Spring election to the Fall election.
