2 Problem Will adding salt affect the number of beads that float?

3 Procedure Add 10 plastic beads into a cup filled with 100mL of water
Stir beads for 1 minute with stir stick Record the number of beads that float Measure out 2 teaspoons of salt Add the salt to the beads and water and stir for 1 minute with the stir stick Record the number of beads that are floating.

4 Hypothesis If salt is added to water then (Number between 0-10) beads will float.

Independent Variable: Dependent Variable: Constants: Number of floating beads Tap Water, Stir stick, Graduated cylinder, Same type of beads, Timer, Salt, amount of water

6 Materials Stir stick 10 Beads 100mL Water 2 grams salt Timer
Graduated Cylinder Cup
