2 What is a GLP?  A guided learning project is a Student initiated and created project to demonstrate mastery  Includes presentation to audience of adults  Technology skills – 21 st century skills  Students work in consolation with teacher to plan, execute, and present  High order thinking

3 GLP Process  Step 1 Student brings idea to teacher to create a innovative project  Step 2 Teacher and Student plan and create guidelines for project  Step 3 Working Period – teacher and student communicate during this time as student researches and puts project in action  Step 4 Finalize project and check with teacher  Step 5 Presenting to Adults/worldwide audience
