4. The Internet ▪ Not regulated ▪ Has no filters ▪ Kids are more tech savvy ▪ Search engines ▪ No moderation

5. The Dangers of the Industrial Mind ▪ Pornography = Junk Food ▪ Get pass regulations ▪ Making it free to watch and look ▪ Learning about their audience and exploiting it ▪ Makes their product look exciting and tantalizing to the eyes ▪ “It’s okay to watch in moderation.”

Preventions ▪ Moderating their internet use ▪ Teaching them that the internet should be used for academics ▪ Ask a lot of questions about what they are doing and about their friends. ▪ Cut them off ▪ Be tentative to your child’s actions ▪ Teaching morals about the internet ▪ Read the warning labels carefully
