When entering a new competitor, get a drop down list of names and details from the Archive list; double click and information entered into your event

21. 21 Computer Network For large events, good to connect two (or more) computers for division of labour For two, simply use crossover cable between network connectors. For more, use a hub to connect everything One database used on Master computer for downloading at finish 2 nd computer for registering people into same database and printing results shut off all firewalls to allow computers to communicate.

22. 22 Interrogate Control data Can look at SI# stored on any control to see if person completed a punch cycle Shows error codes if the entire process was not completed (“ErrA-F” if remove finger punch before finishes operation) Can find out who started but is not back yet by looking at Start and Check stations (not 100% accurate)
