The ‘Instituto Canarias’ was established in 1846 and it was the first high school in the Canary Islands.

The Teide blue finch is an endemic bird. Its scientific name is Fringilla Teydea Teydea. In Spanish: Pinzón Azul del Teide

The students had to complete the activities of the Museum questionnaire in English.

We thank the teacher Ms Maruca Juan, Biology teacher at IES Canarias C.P., for being our ‘bilingual’ guide in the Museum.

We finished our visit at the Real Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País

We saw an exhibition with documents about the bicentenary of the 1812 Spanish Constitution

Now we know La Laguna from a different point of view…
