RFID Editing and setup. Collect your content and organise it how you want it to be viewed and save it somewhere so you can find it easily. (Media formats supported: Images; jpg, gif and animated gif. Audio; wav and mp3. Video; mpg, avi and wmv. Powerpoint; 2003 or 2007)

*Close the Player by right clicking the frog at the bottom right of your screen and selecting ‘Quit’ *Open the player and select ‘Options’ *Set the defaults for your version of Power-point

*Select ‘Media’

*Select the type of media that you previously prepared and stored

*Select ‘Asset’

*Select ‘New …’

*Give the project a name under ‘Media Title’, open the file you saved and add it to the ‘Filename’ box. Put your name in the ‘Contributor’ box and select ‘Save’.

(Make sure the RFID USB reader device is plugged into the computer). *Select ‘Asset’ from the main start page and select ‘New Asset’. This will allow you to give the Asset (RFID tag) a name which you should enter at ‘Asset Name’ (use the previously entered project name). Select ‘Tags’, select ‘Add Tag’, swipe your tag past the reader which will identify the tag and then save this setting. Then simply select your content from the right side and select ‘Add’. Save this screen.

On the main page select ‘Publish’. All done! Close the Editor, open the player and swipe your card past the reader to ensure that it works!

Some tips: Make sure the player is closed before editing! This is very important or it won’t work! Make sure the editor is closed before playing! This is very important, but I’m not sure why? Sometimes the media takes a while to load and play. Swipe the tag close to the reader. Playing videos on full screen is a function that is being developed soon. More than one piece of content can be loaded to play on one tag. Gathering of content and saving it in an easy to find place is important.
