4 GIS Develop Web Based GIS: Basic Functionality - zoomable, scrollable map showing sites or buildings based on user criteria Phase II - property searches within specified drive time or radius Phase III - demographic, workforce and existing business information based on user specified drive times

5 What Functions Will Web GIS Have? User defined online searches of selected sites, buildings & communities Map showing location of selections Real time viewing geo-spatial and tabular data associated with a selected property/community – utilities, transportation, aerial photography Location specific demographic information Business and industry proximity mapping

9 SITE CRITERIA Changes to Site Criteria Minimum site at least 10 contiguous, buildable acres Grandfather existing sites between 5 and 10 acres Research and Technology Park Sites – master planned property designed primarily for R&D, high-tech or science based companies. Allow marketing of remediated brownfields meeting EPPC standards. Decided on a case-by-case basis by Cabinet staff.

11 BUILDING CRITERIA Changes to Building Criteria Special Purpose Buildings – suitable for call centers, research & development, biotech, life sciences, agricultural sciences or high technology operations. Contains features designed for the intended special purpose. Allow marketing of remediated brownfield buildings meeting EPPC standards. Decided on a case-by-case basis by Cabinet staff.

12 Site Search Criteria NEW SEARCH CRITERIA Public Riverport – miles Direct River Access - frontage on a navigable river Sold, Leased or either National Truck Network - miles 5000 foot runway general aviation airport - miles Site Type: All, Industrial, Research & Technology Park

28 Community Web Initiative Web Design Services EDA’s without a web presence: Home page and up to (6) sub pages Simple logo Additional data/pages may be considered EDA’s with a web presence: Assistance with integrating your web site with Cabinet or develop a new basic web site the same as those without a web presence.
