5. College-readiness determined by college. No minimum GPA required.

6. Graduate with College Credit Earn up to 30 college credit hours per academic year; summer not included. No more than 120 college credit hours while in the program.

7. A semester college course of 3 or more credits counts as a one-year high school class.

8. Books and Fees Students attending a public college do not pay for either books or fees. Students attending a private college may have a cost that includes books and fees.

10. If you fail the class or drop it too late, you may have to pay for it.

11. Weighted Grades College courses must be weighted the same as Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate in the same subject area. AP, IB Course College Course

12. The grade you earn in the college course is applied to your high school graduation required class. Grades are Applied to Graduation Requirements

13. I want to help my child get ahead and be challenged in their learning, but I have some concerns? I’m worried about my child becoming disconnected from their High School experience… I’m worried about changes in the High School schedule affecting my child’s off campus courses… I’m worried about having my child in class with adults of any age… I’m worried about my ability to communicate with my child’s professor…

15. What if my student wants a CCP course offered at their sister school? One options for some students we are working on is flexible scheduling between Amelia and Glen Este Campuses. For Example: A student may be enrolled in classes 1-4 or 1-5 at their home school and then travel to their sister school to access other courses for the remainder of the day.

16. What about AP Courses? Some AP courses will also be CCP courses! Students will have the option of taking the Advanced Placement test. West Clermont AP/CCP students will have the best of both options.

17. What about athletic participation? WC and OHSAA require 5 HS Credit courses with a 1.51 minimum GPA in the quarter prior to participation. Make sure you meet with your counselor to be certain you are meeting the “new” rules.

18. Deadline for Students: By April 1, you must tell us if you intend to participate next year.
