Delta-Northwest Merger Update Creates world’s premier global airline –75,000 employees –66 countries and 375 cities –Eight hubs and thousands of additional connecting opportunities Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis, New York JFK, Salt Lake City, Tokyo –Adding service to Australia USA’s only airline with non-stop service to six continents –Provides ability to leverage strength of combined aircraft fleet NW operates as subsidiary until single license approved NW planes being painted to match Delta livery Frequent flyer programs will merge end of 2009

Delta – Northwest Policy Updates Change fees for all domestic non-refundable tickets is $150 Domestic checked luggage* (up to 50 lbs) –1 st bag$15 –2 nd bag $25 –3 rd bag$125 –4 th bag$200 Fly Now Standby Fee: $50 for earlier flight (same day) –Only on Northwest; Delta does not yet have standby product Adding Internet service (4 aircraft per week): $9.95/flight NW-DL Standby Elite upgrades now reciprocal * different policy for Elite members and military
