6 Making a Difference in the Community In 2004, Baxter and The Baxter International Foundation together contributed approximately $15 million worldwide to communities in need. Additionally, Baxter donated approximately $7.9 million in vital medical products, primarily through the international disaster relief and humanitarian-aid organization AmeriCares.

7 Financial Development Internship Program  An internship program designed to provide students with foundational experience and Baxter with full-time hires for our rotational program  A rotational program aimed at bringing strong talent into Baxter, developing, then deploying that talent into the organization as a foundational building block to Baxter’s future success  It is expected that the FDP shape strong analysts and future leaders for Baxter’s finance function

8 Financial Development Internship Program  Typically, a 12-week Internship in the Chicagoland area, leading to an offer decision for our Financial Development Program  Four rotations, approximately nine months each  Both domestic and international rotational assignments are available. Approximately 25% of the rotations are international:  Europe: Belgium, Ireland and Switzerland.  Asia / Other: Canada and Australia  US: Northern Illinois, California and various plant & satellite offices scattered through the States

9 Internship Structure  Interns will work in one of multiple financial disciplines  Generally, Interns start in early/mid May and work through to August  Sponsored social and networking opportunities  Performance goals are set during the first week and measured twice throughout the internship
