But this I say,

brethren,

But this I say, brethren, the time is short:

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not;

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it:

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not; And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

But this I say, brethren, the time is short:

But this I say, brethren, the time is short:

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; for the fashion of this world passeth away.

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; for the fashion of this world passeth away.

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; for the fashion of this world passeth away.

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; And they that weep as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; for the fashion of this world passeth away.

Two Monumental Truths That Should Govern Our Lives

1. The TIME is SHORT. 1 Corinthians 7 29 But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

It is short in terms of the amount of time we have to LIVE! 1. The TIME is SHORT.

Psalm 90 10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

James 4 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

It is short in terms of the amount of time we have LEFT! 1. The TIME is SHORT.

Romans 13 11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

1 Peter 4 7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Revelation 12 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Revelation 13 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Revelation 12 6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Revelation 12 12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

2. The FASHION of this world is PASSING AWAY. 1 Corinthians 7 31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

2 Peter 3 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

1 Corinthians 7 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. 35 And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

John 10 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
