10.  Learn to use HAZUS-MH software ◦ assess risk and estimate economic loss for earthquakes, floods, and hurricane winds.  Qualifies as a college preparatory elective under the g subject requirement in the A-G list of approved courses.

11.  Learn how to organize and present data in maps using ArcMap software and ArcGIS Online.  Participate in a DNA barcoding lab experience ◦ characterize species of organisms based on a short DNA sequence. ◦ Get a scientific publication to your name  Qualifies as a college preparatory elective under the g subject requirement in the A-G list of approved courses.
