2 The difference between a CLAUSE and a PHRASE A CLAUSE has a verb e.g. I wish that it will not rain tomorrow. A PHRASE is a group of words, usually without any verb e.g. I wish you a Merry Christmas.

3 BECAUSE vs. BECAUSE OF A CLAUSE follows “BECAUSE” e.g. I love Erminia because she is beautiful. “BECAUSE OF” is followed by A PHRASE e.g. I love Erminia because of her beauty.

4 DURING is followed by a phrase e.g. I learnt to swim during the summer holiday. 7.I have a wonderful experience during I was working at Teen Times. when
