1 What is the Fire Suppression Systems Association? Founded in 1982 and drawing members both domestic and international, the Fire Suppression Systems Association (FSSA) is a not-for-profit trade association comprised of academics, consultants, designer/installers, manufacturers and suppliers who work together to share ideas and strategies for the benefit of the fire suppression systems industry. Its members are dedicated to the highest level of safety, reliability and effectiveness of special hazards fire suppression.

2 The Mission of the FSSA: The FSSA is dedicated to promoting use of, and being the recognized leader on, special hazard fire protection systems; employing existing and new technologies to safeguard people, high-value assets and the environment. As a global-reaching organization, the FSSA provides our members support and guidance with many questions or issues that arise – with a strong united voice.

7 FSSA Member Benefits Include: Significant Discounts on Educational Offerings: –FSSA's Online Training Program: a self-paced collaborative compilation of four separate training modules, is designed to educate and train personnel within the fire suppression industry. These custom courses are based on FSSA products, procedures, practices and systems. Members who take advantage of the program can save up to $785 annually.

8 The FSSA Educational Foundation The FSSA Educational Foundation was established to further the development of future leaders within the fire suppression systems industry. Supported by contributions from the fire suppression industry and other business groups and individuals, the FSSA Scholarship Fund awarded $17,000 to talented and worthy students in the field of fire suppression in 2014.
