2. Describe/Explain/Discuss  Define the topic  State an example  Describe or elaborate on the topic  May ask for specific number of topics

3. Compare and Contrast  Clearly state what the items have in common  Clearly state how the items are different

4. Math Questions  Show every single step of all work  Make sure to include all appropriate units  If numbers are very large or very small, use scientific notation  Set up problems so that labels cancel out  Write answers with labels

5. Graphing  Independent on X, Dependent on Y  Equal increments and labels on each axis  If more than one curve is plotted, create a legend for your graph  Plot points and attempt to sketch a curve  Give your graph an appropriate title
