2 Division A THE A-TEAM A TEAM A TEAM of leaders dedicated to supporting all clubs in Division A and to assisting those clubs to bring success to all of their members.

3 Division A Top Priorities Encouraging all members of Division A to overcome their fears and to take their Toastmasters experience to the next level. Quality training events to help club officers learn their roles to ensure all clubs have a strong and dedicated leadership team. Providing well organized and enjoyable speech contests for all areas. Providing well organized and enjoyable speech contests for the division. Completing 100% of club visits to ensure every club feels supported and has an opportunity to share their goals and requirements with the district. Regular and timely communication about all events and deadlines during the year. Thoughtful and constructive feedback for all clubs. A dedicated Division A Council that will work to bring success to all clubs. Respect and appreciation for every Toastmaster that volunteers to help the division.

13 pROJECTS  HPL- Carisa David- creation of Division D Galaxy of Stars(Division D Virtual Hall of Fame)  Mission: To empower members to beam themselves, join the Division D Galaxy of Stars, dazzling like Diamonds in heaven.  STAR with 7 rays represent the 7 areas in Division D.  Star Galaxy Installation, short video/ slideshow( ?),  Theme Song-Adding Stars  Division D- Devoted, Dedicated, Determined, delightfully dazzling.  Newsletter- Editor- Laura Nguyen- debut release Target date: October/November  Traveling Star- Similar to the picture above with the 7 rays representing the 7 Areas of Division D.  Division D Unique Incentive.  Educationals/ Learning sessions.

17 DIVISION F – THE FRIENDLY GIANT CREATING GIANTS AMONG MEN

18 Our goal is to take ordinary men and women and turn them into giants through the Toastmasters International training program in communication and leadership. Working together we can all become giants.

19 www.toastmasters.org Team Spirit mascot - Octopus  A smart, resourceful problem-solving creature  Tentacles provides amazing metaphors for how Toastmaster skills can spread in to other aspects of your life  Flight or fight response is a massive amount of ink, thus the metaphor of writing for fear of a deadline Division G

20 www.toastmasters.org Club Visits  Excellent progress – by the end of August, most Areas will have at least 50% of their club visits completed Bridging the Distance  A geographically diverse group, we are using Skype and looking towards AnyMeeting to have Division meetings along with emails and phone calls to continually stay in contact Division G

21 Division J Mascot Meeting of July 23 rd resulted in proposals – Jaguars Quick, beautiful that get the job done Powerful, respected – Jays Quick and bright Sociable and talkative – Anagrams GLADEMMS, DAMMES, MMEGA LDS – No consensus at this time Next meeting September 10th
