4 Tells about an action or state of being that is happening NOW. I work at school. I am late for class.

5 To form the present tense Keep the basic form of the verb OR Add –s or -es

7 The PRESENT tense names an action that is happening now. The pitcher throws the ball to the catcher. Pettitte plays for the Yankees. The batter walks to 1 st base.
