7 SmartHealth Activities 100 activity choices throughout the year – Program, Agency, Condition Management Activities are organized to provide choice and variety over time – 8+ activities to choose from at any time – Something new each month Activities align to whole-person wellness – Always opportunities to track healthy behaviors like exercise and nutrition – Balanced offerings at all times: Nutrition, Exercise, Work-Life Balance, Emotional Well-being 7

8 Activity Basics Easy to read description Simple tracking on desktop or smartphone Points can be awarded weekly or all at once Content can include links to other sites and resources 8

9 SmartHealth Activities There are Activities available for members on the Home Page and in the Topics section – However not all Activities are accessible to everyone and not everyone will have the same Activities displayed on their Home Page The same “Base Activities,” for which new content is added every month, will be visible on the Home Page for all members – Calendar of Activities in the Appendix 9

11 SmartHealth Activities Additional Activities will only be visible on the Home Page of some members – Medical Plan and Dental Plan Activities: These will be visible on the Home Page for Members with those plans; they will not be visible anywhere in SmartHealth for those who are not – Recommended Activities: These will be visible on the Home Page for Members who have determined a Health Risk in the Well-being Assessment – The same Activities that are recommended on the Home Page for some Members will be visible in the “Topics” section for all other Members 11

12 Agency/Institution Activities Agency/Institution requested Activities will be visible on the Home Page of members of that Agency/Institution In 2015, all Agencies/Institutions with over 50 employees will be able to request 4 Activities customized to their Agency/Institution Please contact your Agency/Institution’s main Wellness Coordinator to discuss Activity requests 12

13 Agency Activity Request 1.Two Types of Customized Agency Activities a.Idea Bank (12 choices) b.Customized 2.Available for SmartHealth Members at your Agency/Institution only 3.Up to 4 Activities per year 4.Requires simple form completion for approval 5.Initial worksite Activities available in April, 2015 13

14 Types of Agency-Specific Activities Idea Bank Activities Developed by Limeade and pre-approved by PEBB Streamlined approval Can tailor title, image, dates and some content Customized Activities Developed by Agency/Institution Requires full approval process—longer lead time Limeade to collaborate on design 14

22 Content Tips 22 1.Use a fun, descriptive image! – Sized to 1000x500 pixels – Make sure you have the rights to use it 2.The rules for the Activity will be described at the top – It’s not necessary to include rules in the description as well 3.Try to make the first few sentences really describe the Activity – This is the “Content – Short” section of the form, limited to 300 characters

23 Activity Request Process & Timeline 23 Idea Bank Activities require 60 days notice; Customized Activities require 90 days notice Limeade will always acknowledge receipt within 3 business days and accept requests for consideration the 1 st business day of each month Limeade responds within 7-10 business days (Idea Bank) or 10-14 business days (Customized) and will work with you to ensure your request meets all criteria if necessary

24 Activity Request Process & Timeline 24 WA Wellness will receive the recommended Activities for approval the 3 rd full week of each month WA Wellness will provide approval or rejection within 5 business days (Idea Bank) or 5-10 business days (Customized) Agency/Institution will receive WA Wellness decision no later than 30 days before Launch date in order to begin promotion for the Activity Once approved, Limeade will build Activity into the platform 30 days before Launch Date in SmartHealth
