3 Agenda  Why are we here…again?  What is a curriculum vitae (C.V.)?  How is it different from a résumé?  What criteria do you use when creating one?

5 What is a C.V. and how does it differ from a résumé? What is a résumé?

6  French meaning “summary”  Concise summary of your recent, significant, pertinent qualifications tailor-made for a specific purpose  Its purpose is to apply to something specific  Ranges from 1-2 pages  Think carefully about the style; must be appropriate to the position you’re applying for  Latin meaning “course of life”  A comprehensive database of your education, academic background, and extra- curricular activities  Its purpose is to keep track of everything you have done  As long as it needs to be  Style is whatever works for you RésuméCurriculum Vitae Your résumé comes from pulling experiences from your C.V..
