1 Life Science What is it?

2 Definition Any of several branches of science, such as biology, medicine, anthropology, or ecology, that deal with living organisms and their organization, life processes, and relationships to each other and their environment. We will mainly focus on the branch of biology.

3 How does it help us? It helps us understand how we live, how our bodies work, how to use natural resources, and how to keep ourselves healthy. LIFE is SCIENCE itself!

7 Animals Animals are a big part of Biology and we can learn a great amount from studying them. By watching how they interact with their environment, we can learn about their impact on their ecosystem. Here is a link to a fun website about endangered animals.

8 Plants Plants are also a large portion of Biology. Studying how plants reproduce, consume nutrients, and produce oxygen helps us understand how they impact the ecosystems in which they inhabit.

9 Biology is only one of the many different branches of Life Science
Biology is only one of the many different branches of Life Science. There are still several other life sciences that are extremely important within the scientific community, such as medicine, anthropology, and ecology.
