Art MEDIUM or FORM Medium ex. – watercolor, oil, etc. Form ex. – printmaking, sculpture, photography Research history, advantages/disadvantages, process of creating it, how used Include two artists of medium/form and compare/contrast how they used it and give examples of work Create own example

7. 2. Subject Matter Choose a subject, such as portraits, religion, angels Find two artists Compare/contrast style, historical era, and analyze the five elements of design (shape, line, pattern, texture, and color) Create own sample

8. 3. Style Examples: Impressionism, Abstract Explain style, history, factors influencing its arrival Choose one or two artists and show how their work portrays this style Create own sample
