2 History of Cancer Cancer cells are abnormal that divide uncontrollably even when new cells are not needed, thus producing a tumor. The place where a cancer starts is called the primary cancer. A malignant tumor is one that can invade and damage nearby tissues and organs. A benign tumor will not spread to other parts of the body and is not cancer. In this presentation, breast, colon, and lung cancer will be explained.

12 Recurrence  It’s when Cancer comes back after a patient heals. It is most common after breast cancer.  The most frequent time of recurrence is in the first two years  Recurrence depends on tumor size, cell growth rate and the look and shape of cancer cells under a microscope.
